Blog: Finalists for the 2012 National Book Awards

The National Book Foundation has announced the finalists for the 2012 National Book Awards. The judges selected twenty books from a field of nearly 1300 submitted by American publishers for American authors. Each finalist will receive $1000, a medal, and a citation.
The winners will be announced at the 63rd National Book Awards Ceremony and Benefit Dinner in New York City on Wednesday, November 14. Each winner will receive $10,000 and a bronze sculpture.
Fiction

Nonfiction
