Michael L. Printz Award

The Michael L. Printz Award, named for a school librarian, is presented annually by the Young Adult Library Services Association (YALSA), part of the American Libarary Association (ALA).

The award is for a book that exemplifies literary excellence in young adult literature. The book may be fiction, non-fiction, poetry or an anthology.
