The 2004 prize was announced April 6, 2005. I would expect the 2006 prize to be announced in April 2007, but the Library of Congress has offered no clue concerning an announcement date. The news release should appear here.

It seems that the award will be announced in the fall this year. I am pushing the calendar back to September. Kennylucius 11:26, 1 July 2007 (EDT)
